English: LDR07 Light-dependent CdS photoresistor. The wires on each side are connected to an interlocking copper dual-comb structure. The dark brown substance inbetween is cadmium sulphide, the light-sensitive material. The device is protected by a transparent layer; its diameter is 9mm.

Verklaring van foto: Aan weerszijden zit een aansluiting, die verbonden is met koper in de vorm van een soort in elkaar grijpende kam. Het donkerbruine is het lichtgevoelige materiaal. Door deze manier ontstaat er een groter verschil in weerstand, en is de weerstand lager als er licht op valt. Het geheel is beschermd door een doorzichtige laag.
