Kinodagi faoliyati
tahrirKerry 1916-yilda Douglas Feirbanks ishtirok etgan va Allan Dwan rejissyori boʻlgan „Manhattan Madness“ komediyasida birinchi marta suratga tushdi[4]. Dwan sahnada paydo boʻlishi uchun otli yoshlar kerak edi va Kerry bu ehtiyojni qondirish uchun oʻzi va doʻstlari koʻngilli boʻldi[5]. Keyingi yili Kerry „A Little Prince“ filmida aktrisa Mary Pickfordga qarshi o‘ynab, yetakchi aktyor maqomiga ko‘tarildi[6][7]. U yana Mary Pickford bilan 1918-yilda Amarilli of Clothes-line Alley filmida paydo boʻldi va bu oʻz navbatida uni Constance Talmadge tomonidan Up the Road With Salli efilmi uning yetakchi odami sifatida tanlashiga olib keldi[6][7][8].
Shaxsiy hayoti
tahrir1894-yil 16-iyunda Nyu-Yorkning Rochester shahrida tugʻilgan[9][1] Kerry Isaak va Eunice Kaiserning oʻgʻli edi[10][11][12]. U oʻsib ulgʻayganida oilasi bilan Nyu-York [10] [11] va Long-Aylendda yashagan[12]. DeLaSalle maktabi, Sent-Jon kolleji va Merilend universiteti talabasi va sportchi boʻlgan[13]. Kerrining otasi Isaak Kaiser charm buyumlar ishlab chiqaruvchi va dileri[10][11][12][14] boʻlgan va Kerryning oʻzi bir muncha vaqt shu kompaniyaning vakili sifatida ishlagan[15][6].
1917-yilda, kino sanoatida bir oz muvaffaqiyatga erishganiga qaramay, Kerry Britaniya Qirollik uchuvchi korpusiga qoʻshildi va oʻsha yilning sentabr oyida Kanadaning Toronto shahrida[16] leytenant sifatida komissiya bilan mashgʻulotlarga qatnashishi kerak edi[17]. Biroq, 2-noyabr kuni Kerryning otasi vafot etdi[14] va unga olti oylik taʼtil berildi[18]. 1918-yilda u qisqa muddat (2-oktabrdan 4-dekabrgacha) AQSh armiyasida xizmat qildi, Los-Anjelesga qaytib keldi va shu yilning oxiriga kelib kino karerasiga qaytdi[19].
