Hemera — ibtidoiy yunon xudolaridan biri boʻlib, kunning shaxsiylashtirilgan holati edi. Hemera soʻzining maʼnosi yunoncha „kun“ boʻlib, Hesiodning „Theogony“ nomli asarida keltilishicha, Hemera Erebus va Nyx (Kecha ilohasi)ning qizi edi. Hemera Titanlar va Olimpiada xudolarining avlodi hokimyatga kelguniga qadar dastlabki Titanlar avlodiga mansub deb qaraladi. Rim mifologiyasida esa Dies nomi bilan ataladi[1].

Afsonalarga koʻra Hemera hayoti
tahrirEski manbalarda Hemeraning eri sifatida, ayni vaqtda oʻz ukasi Aether (Nur) koʻrsatib oʻtilgan. Faqat manbalarda farzanlari haqida turli-xil maʼlumotlar keltirilgan. Baʼzi manbalarda bolalari Gaia (Dunyo), Uranius (Osmon) va Thallassa (Dengiz) ekanligi aytib oʻtilgan boʻlsa, boshqa manbalarda faqatgina Thaerasani Aerther va Hemeraning farzandi ekanligi taʼkidlab oʻtilgan. Kecha kunduz hikoyasiga koʻra Nyx va Erebus har oqshom Tartarusdan ajralib, kechaning qorongʻuligini dunyoga yoyishadi. Quyosh chiqqandan soʻng esa Hemera kunni yoritadi va ukasi Aerther nur yoyilishini taʼminlaydi deb tasavvur qilingan. Yunon mifologiyasida ibtidoiy davr xudolari haqida maʼlumotlar juda kam va ularga atab ibodatxonalar bunyod etilmagan[2].
